Flash Desktops

The price for Flash Desktops 2 is $25 for both the:

  • Personal license: Allows installation on 2 computers but can only be used by single individual. The license is personal and nontransferable.
  • Company license: Allows installation on only 1 computer at the same time, but the program can be used by anyone at that computer. Cannot be shared on networks! The license must be used locally and for a single registration there cannot be more than one instance of the program running.
You can order multiple licenses to fulfill the total number of computers/people you need to register.

I will try to send revenue to charity if I can, depending on my financial situation. What goes for charity will be most likely for medical research towards AIDS, Cancer, Tinnitus and Eye Floaters. (The distribution of money among these is at my discretion)

The registration files you will receive for your payment will unlock FD versions 1.32.18, all 2.x and all future 3.x. Should I change the registration files format in the future, you will receive the new registration files.

NOTE: I DO NOT guarantee that version number will ever reach 3.x. I only guarantee that if those versions will be released you will be registered.

"Unlock" means that the program will work without time limitations, and if there are options reserved for registered users, those will be enabled.

You can perform the payent through the Kagi service:
https://order.kagi.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi?storeID=ENI
If you type it by hand please make sure you use the https://...page: the SSL secure one.

The license purchase works like this:

Step 1
You go to the above link, enter your data and credit card number as usual. Your data will be temporarily remembered by the automatic Kagi system. Your credit card will not be charged at this moment: the transaction will be held still by Kagi. Note: Kagi is my reseller. They process credit cards on a large scale for me and for hundreds of other developers. I never deal with credit card numbers, I cannot access your credit card number in any way. Risks of fraud with Kagi I believe are practically zero.

Step 2
The next time I will have an internet connection (happens almost every day), I will unlock your transactions which Kagi was holding. This is the moment in which your credit card will be charged. You will immediately receive an email from Kagi with subject = "Thanks for your purchase", and after that one, within 12/24 hours at most, an email from me with subject = "Thanks for registering Flash Desktops!" which will contain your license file to unlock FD.

This was done because sporadically happens that I cannot have internet access for a few days, and this would puzzle the purchaser who was paying and not receiving anything for a few days. With the current set-up you know that your credit card is NOT charged until you receive the "Thanks for your purchase" email from Kagi. In addition, at any time between step 1 and step 2 you can (in case you get tired of waiting, or for whatever other reason) still cancel your purchase by sending me an email: the next time I will download the emails I will see your request along with your purchase notification, and I will cancel your transaction. In this case your credit card will never be charged.

Important: please make absolutely sure that you enter a correct email address on the Kagi forms. If your email address is wrong, I will discover this too late: your credit card will be charged, but then I won't be able to send you the registration files! If you feel something is wrong please DO contact me, writing me from an email address that you are totally sure that it works for replies. Also please watch out for spam-filters on your side: have a look into the spam quarantine area if you don't seem to receive any of the above mentioned emails or a reply to your inquiries.
